I am currently Interning at ArtStore where I support the Network Administrator in running the helpdesk and Windows Administration. ArtStore is a Non-Profit organization which digitizes images for universities to use for learning applications. In 2001 I decided IT was a good field to get into considering all the trends in technology. I signed up at Devry, but ended up joining the military where I focused on tech repair on Communication technologies including switchboards, radios, fiber optics and PCs. IT was a career move to a brighter future. I want to get certified so I have an edge in a market full of Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees. Certifications are the best way to show potential employers your skills. I chose PrepLogic after using their Ultimate Access trial. I liked everything it had to offer, especially compared to their competitors. PrepLogic’s video lectures were much more enjoyable compared to others. PrepLogic also had the additional content like Audiobooks, Quiz Me Series and Practice Exams. The PrepLogic Cloud Classroom is the whole package; it’s more helpful and resourceful for my learning. The iPad2 with Ultimate Access will never leave my side. I can watch videos wherever I go, study practice exams, listen to audio and read over the Mega Guides. It will be glued to my hands. Eric, my salesperson, made the buying process seamless; we chatted live, he signed me up with no problems, he was knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Needless to say I started the next day and am now on my way to my next Certification!

My PrepLogic Review:I work as an IT Engineer Integrator with a U.S. Intelligence Contractor. I integrate new products into the data center and deal with hardware and software issues. I have dealt with major disaster recovery scenarios including server fires and power outages. I got into technology while serving in the US Military. Hoping to do construction, when I enlisted I ended up in Sat-Com dealing with communication and antenna transmission equipment. I chose PrepLogic after a long, hard decision and ended up deciding to get Ultimate Access with a free iPad2. At first I just wanted my MCITP, but my company was willing to invest in more. After looking into other brands, I decided PrepLogic was the best choice. I enjoy the video options PrepLogic provides because they offer a different form of saturation. I feel the videos are a fresh break from simply reading. After using my training materials, PrepLogic was exactly what I was looking for. The information is solid and straightforward, offering a black and white image of what the topics are in a grassroots format. I like that I can use my training on the iPad2 for studying on business trips—it beats sitting in a hotel room watching TV. My PrepLogic Review:I work as a Principle Consultant with a firm that contract to the Federal Government for Security, Intelligence and Surveillance. We work to secure high profile systems and work closely with Ethical Hackers to test and ensure the safety of sensitive government systems. I chose PrepLogic for a number of reasons. Because I routinely work with numerous Government agencies, I was asked to test the product for potential use within my client marketplace. I love the fact that I can access and maintain platform portability while I study. Training uninterrupted at times when standard study methods like classrooms simply cannot provide a convenient time or place to meet. The benefit of being able to study in such places as an Airport, or while traveling on a train to and from client sites is priceless. PrepLogic’s products allow me a strategic, well planed logistical training platform that has been adapted to overcome many modern stresses of having to “meet” at a certain time for training. I love the fact that I don’t have to sit in a classroom. The Ultimate Access deal in particular was awesome, because it provided an iPad 2 to use my study materials on.

My PrepLogic Review:I have been in the IT field for about 15 years now and have been on and off with certifications my whole life. Anyone in the IT field knows that it’s so important to continually update yourself and stay abreast of the current technologies. Keeping up-to-date with certifications gives you a sense of security in that regard because it affirms your knowledge. You get to a point in your career where you have to maintain a certain amount of knowledge, which is where online training has been useful to me, instead of wasting time going to class. I’ve used other CBT training before and the difference with PrepLogic is how using all of the test prep, Mega Guides, Printables and Quiz Me Series audio training helps develop a mindset that really readies you for the test. When I used other CBT training I actually ended up having to buy some of PrepLogic’s products anyway. I already knew most of the stuff for the CompTIA A+ certification, but it ended up being very fun to watch with Mike Meyer’s amusing sense of humor. I’ve used PrepLogic to earn MCSE certs and I am now working to upgrade to MCITP, as well as the CEH. My PrepLogic Review:I wanted to get certified because certifications are good for job mobility, validation of your skills and also that you literally learn things you didn’t know by studying and preparing for the exam. I used PrepLogic to help get my CompTIA A+ certification. The A+ LearnSmart video training was very informative and Mike Meyer’s has a good teaching style. I also used the A+ practice exams. The practice exam recreated the real exam environment and format. I found a good amount of the questions on the practice exam were pretty on the money as far as the real exam is concerned. Also, the few times I needed technical support, I got quick responses and very thorough follow up, which is rare to find these days. I plan on using PrepLogic Practice Exams for my Security+ and Network+ certifications.

This package is ideal for me because I am aiming to get certified in more than one certification, which will take some time. With PrepLogic’s training, I am now CompTIA A+, Network+ and recently Security+ certified. I have a BS in Computer Information Technologies and was thinking about taking a formal class to get my A+. But who really wants to read a 2000 page book full of hundreds of technical terms? Well, I ended up not having to do that because I found PrepLogic. I’ve never seen training like this before in my life. The LearnSmart Video training is second to none. I’m that guy who is always wearing headphones, so the Lecture and Quiz Me Audio training is perfect for me. I like that the audio doesn’t just ask you a question, it gives you answer choices and even tells you why the other answer choices are wrong. If you don’t understand something, you can just hit rewind! The Pocket Guides are really good too. I will continue to use PrepLogic to help me achieve my certification goals.

One year ago I decided to change careers and get into the IT field and, being new to the field, I needed to show proof of my knowledge of computer systems, for which I used certification exams to do that. I had earned my CompTIA A+ certification by the time I discovered PrepLogic and have used them for my training ever since. PrepLogic helped me in earning my Network+, Security+ and Server+ certifications. I passed all three exams the first time! I really like the Mega Guides. They are useful, right to the point, and in a nicely condensed format, unlike many other lengthy computer study guide books. Instead of boring, out of date powerpoints, PrepLogic has video instruction that actually engages you with the material. I didn’t feel like the instructors were just reading from a script. They were really explaining the information, giving it a personal feel. My next step is to get the MCITP certification and I will use PrepLogic as my training program.

My PrepLogic Review:In order to advance my IT career in the government field, it is important for me to stay up-to-date with the latest IT certifications. Recently, I undertook the task of earning my CISSP certification. Many of my peers warned me that it is rare to pass the CISSP exam on the first try. I am happy to report that with the help of PrepLogic’s LearnSmart training I did, in fact, pass the very first time! After training with PrepLogic, I felt well prepared and confident in my abilities going into the exam. While taking the exam, I felt knowledgeable about the material and was able to finish the exam early. In the midst of deciding to get my CISSP certification, my handicapped father moved into my home, and helping to take care of him involved a lot of time and attention. The CISSP requires a lot of experience and knowledge, so in choosing a test prep provider it was really important for me to find a course of study that was time efficient. What I found with PrepLogic, and not in other test prep companies, was a comprehensive training program that was intended for the working person. Currently pursuing my Bachelor's in Information Technology, it came time to take my CIW (Certified Internet Web Professional) exam. I did some research to find study tools that would really prepare me for the actual test and would be more stimulating than my generic textbooks. PrepLogic was an easy choice after reading all the feedback on several IT forums regarding their quality products. I was specifically interested in the audio training, which I also read great things about. PrepLogic was the only one to provide such material.
After purchasing the CIW v5 Foundations Lecture Series audio training from PrepLogic, I couldn't believe how much easier studying for my CIW exam became. I made serious headway on my drive to work every day, reviewing key concepts and keeping focused days before the exam. I can't put into words how valuable this was to have the extra training and the ability to multi-task. It's hard to find down time when you're going to school and working. I was so pleased with the CIW audio training once I received it that I also purchased the CIW v5 Foundations Mega Guide. The CIW Mega Guide was absolutely crucial for my exam, providing me with practice questions, topic summaries and cumulative reviews. The week before the exam I was able to focus just on the essentials and cut out all the fluff and time I would have spent studying from a textbook. I doubt too many people actually enjoy studying, but for me, PrepLogic offered training materials that made studying easy, painless and most importantly, it was efficient. I passed my CIW exam and felt very prepared thanks to PrepLogic's Mega Guide and Lecture Series audio training supplements.
All the training I ordered from PrepLogic for my CIW exam was relevant on exam day. This is a company that really understands certification exams. PrepLogic’s Mega Guides and practice exams helped prepare me for the Security+ certification. The Mega Guide was very comprehensive and had a lot of important information. The Security+ practice exam really acclimates you to the actual test. The practice exams covered a number of subjects a little more in depth than I had seen in my other studies, and a lot of those subjects were on the exam. The practice exams really get you familiar with the test and I was able to get through the exam pretty quickly.

I think the best way to get certified is your LearnSmart Video Training. This way, I pay less, I get more training and I don't have to go insane driving 3 hours every day!
